My black & white setup is only starting!
Got three months ago good keyboard
Ended up at Royal Kludge for my first ever mechanical keyboard and I am very satisfied with its aesthetics and performance. Speedy delivery as well. Even got one more for my friend as a birthday gift.
So far it has been amazing the battery lasts really long the charging is fast the hot-swappable switches are amazing if one breaks and the overall feel is nice and on the app connection is fine but the ui is a little confusing.
I love it! It's just perfect. It has some weight that makes it feel premium. The rubber support underneath is great, and it is well balanced.
For me its really fucking great so nice the sound and design its realy fucming quality i just hope there is a fuxking bad ass des8gn black one or black red because im really looking for another one black or black and red not white
Great thock, nice way to hide away the usb dongle, able to connect plug and play via usb cable as well and the knob is great! Shipping was fast and the product arrived in great condition to Switzerland. Thank you, finally again a good value deal.
My absolute favourite keyboard size is a 96% keeb, I still get to have my numpad while keeping things a bit more compact. Sometimes it's a little hard to find ones though that would support a ISO keyboard layout (that i.e. a lot of European languages use).
The Royal Kludge S98 has both ANSI and ISO layout and you can get US English, German, Spanish, French and Japanese keylayouts for it! The German layout is so close to the Nordic one that I went with that one!
I really like how sturdy the keyboard feels and this is my first keyboard with a little display on it! Now I can finally load all the Ghibli GIFs in it that I want!
I'm also a linear switch girlie so I went with the linear option but you can also pick a tactile switch option as well! And there are 3 more colours available as well (not all the languages come in all of the colours though)
The RK S98-JP keyboard has been a great experience so far. I really enjoy the kana keycaps—they give it a unique look and make typing more enjoyable. The keyboard itself feels solid, operates smoothly, and delivers a satisfying typing experience. My only wish is that it came in more color options, but overall, it’s an excellent keyboard that I’m very happy with.
Build quality feels excellent. Plastic but very rigid. The keyboard has a bit of heft.
The typing experience is excellent. The linear switches have a little weight, which guards against some accidental key presses. The sound is really pleasing too, less high clicky, more of a lower softer sound. Ive heard the word “thocky” which i think work here.
Awesome board
Best keyboard in the market with this price it sure beats razer , apex steel series , It has a nice clicky sound
I was adjusting to the keyboard since I was so used to having Numpads, but got the hang of it slowly and every press to the keypads is somewhat aesthetic or hitting the correct itch to my ears.
Love how it is still mechanical and customisable even though it is a folding keyboard!
I've had this keyboard for a month, and I’m loving it! It’s solid, heavy, and the silent keys are super quiet with a nice feel. The layout’s great for work and gaming—leaves plenty of room for my mouse. Might get another as a gift!
Two small issues: the volume knob feels a bit cheap compared to the rest. Also, the keys above the number pad (volume up, down, mute) are in a weird order, not the usual mute, down, up. Support said I can remap them with their software. I also changed the calculator key to a Discord mute combo using PowerToys.
For the price, I wish it came with extra keycaps (not just the home key to replace the knob). Since the sound keys mimic the volume knob, some keys with fun icons for things like Discord, screen recording, mic toggle, camera toggle, would’ve been nice. Third-party ones don’t match the color.
Still, this keyboard’s awesome!
The touch, the performance the way it responds everytime you use it is such a different expirience, the wireless option the Bluetooth, the customized RGB is for me one of the best things, very recommended dont hesitate to buy it!
Royal Kludge L75 is a good keyboard specially for the price it comes in. Silent keys are very pleasant. Keycaps are not the best but you can't expect everything in budget. Keycaps and keys are replaceable. Left Macro keys are customizable but to be honest it's not very easy to change the macros. 8000 mAH battery is one of the biggest and in my normal office use it is still shows full after a month. 2.4Gz connection is very stable and quick to reconnect, never felt it has lagged after waking up the keyboard after it had gone for sleep.
Overall, it is a good keyboard to start your journey in the mechanical keyboard world.
Since it is hot swappable you can modify it to any extent as per your choice. Default sound of the keyboard is enough for my liking so didn't do any modification apart from few customization with keycaps to check my linking.
Easy to use , nice to the touch. Well executed layout.
