Blown over by the Quality

This is my first mechanical keyboard. I opted for the brown switches version as I wanted the tactile feel.
What can I say about the experience!! It's the smoothest experience I've ever has while using keyboards. The membrane type which I was using in past, were so inconsistent in their feel. One keystroke would be butter smooth and the next one would provide a world of resistance.
Not with this keyboard. This one provided good tactile feed while typing and I am no longer missing letters in the words in type.
I bought the S98 because number pad if of prime importance for me.
The display is cool 😎. But most importantly, it is functional. It helped me realise that the battery lasts way too much long, if I switch off the led.
The connectivity features leaves nothing lacking, three BT pairings, a dongle pairing and a direct USB cable leaves you wanting no more. Just a click of the round volume knob and rotate to select the connectivity option, and you can easily switch between multiple device.
The usb hub (one usb A port) is also a great feature. If using the keyboard in wired mode, just plug in the mouse to the keyboard and you that should do it.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. This is my personal home keyboard. Mu office keybaord now feels like junk.

absolutely terrific

i bought the viridian turquoise green one for 80$. once i bought it, i was instantly baffled. the sound, look, and details are all so great. i definitely recommend this keyboard to people who want a keyboard with a screen, number pad, and so much more. 10/10!

Like Raindrops

This board sounds beautiful and for the price it not only looks premium but feels premium all the way around. Typing reminds me of raindrops and the sound is extremely satisfying out of the box, I've never modded a board before outside of swapping keycaps, but this certainly doesn't need it. My only complaint is that the software is windows only and porting a gif onto the board for the screen is finicky at best. I find that more often than not it fails to port the gif, this may just be a me problem as I've yet to try it on a different machine but these are minor complaints all in all.

I just got it first impression is good

I got 2 hours ago and my first impression is very good, the sound, display and everything is good. Onlything what i dont like is that the software is a little bit too hard to understand but i understood it anyways.
Delivery was fast too i ordered it on Sunday (Monday was a day off) and i got it on Wednesday thats a really fast delivery i didnt expect it so fast (maybe thats because i live in a big city) but overall my first impression is really good

Amazing, well put together feels great to type on!Also works amazing on console (PS5) Too!

RK F68 Foldable Mechanical Keyboard for Cell Phone Linux

I got the keyboard with red switches to run Termux on my Razer Phone 2.

This is not a flimsy foldable keyboard. The aluminum chassis and feels solid with firm hinges.
When open it does not move. (N.B. My daily driver is a New Model F Ultracompact F62.)

I prefer clicky keys but didn't want to try low profile browns. Reds here do not disappoint.
There is plenty of travel and they typing experience is not like a laptop/chiclet keyboard.

The magnetic stand/holder holds my phone fine, but with my case viewing a little too vertical.
The adhesive rubber foot underneath it came loose, but I pressed it back on and it's staying.

Down sides for some is the weight and the soft cloth case. When folded the keys are *outside*.
So the cloth keeps out dust but does not protect the keys otherwise. A hard case would be better.

One missed opportunity with this keys-out folding design is the lack of hot swappable switches.
Taller key switches wouldn't interfere with the folding. The folded volume would only grow a little.

Great Keyboard!!

Love the S98 keyboard. The keys sound awesome. I'm not normally someone who likes my keyboards to make any noise but the way this sounds is very satisfying. The display and knob are great. I think my only complaint is the alternative audio controls only having quick access via fn keys. I listen to a lot of music and like having a single keypress to play/pause, mute, etc. Otherwise incredible keyboard would definitely buy again

The keyboard is amazing perfect quality im very happy and it sounds amazing.

Just perfect

It is smooth, sounds nice, good battery life and beautiful design with RGBs. The battery lasts for 2 days of constant using and it’s very responsive. I’m very satisfied with the keyboard

Love it

I love this keyboard!! After receiving the keyboard I did run in to an issue where I contacted the support email and they were kind, quick and helpful with their response. Had a really good experience with them

Uhhh

This is worth the £40 that it cost

Yep get it now

It’s Good love the sound

It’s good nice sound and quality

Click, Clack, Wunderbar!

The retro style makes me smile every I see it. Writing is fun, and as good as keyboards 3 times more expensive. If you like how it looks, buy it. It's amazing.

Super tactile and very satisfying typing experience

I love my S98 keyboard. Love that it support Bluetooth as well as wired connectivity. The typing experience is smooth and very satisfying.

A Stylish Performer with Outstanding Support”

The Royal Kludge S98 is a keyboard that immediately catches the eye with its elegant and thoughtful design. Visually, it strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and personality. The feel of the keycaps is another standout feature—they’re smooth to the touch, offering just the right amount of resistance and grip for comfortable, extended typing sessions.

Typing on the S98 is a true pleasure. The keys are responsive and precise, allowing for quick and fluid typing with a remarkably low rate of typing errors. The sound profile is particularly satisfying: it’s soft yet audible enough to give a pleasant acoustic feedback without being intrusive.

The integrated display and rotary knob are both useful and well-implemented, adding a nice functional touch without feeling gimmicky. One detail I particularly appreciate is the shortcut button on the side of the keyboard, which allows an instant switch between wired and RF modes—an extremely convenient feature when using multiple devices.

That said, there are a couple of areas where the S98 could improve. The side switch would have been even more useful if it also allowed switching to Bluetooth. Additionally, the number of reactive lighting effects triggered by keystrokes is relatively limited compared to the more varied lighting animations not tied to key presses.

A special mention goes to Royal Kludge's customer support. I experienced a minor issue, and their response was impressively quick, professional, and effective. It's always reassuring to know that a brand stands firmly behind its product.

Overall, the RK S98 is an excellent choice for anyone who values design, performance, and solid build quality—backed by support you can count on.

Not RK's best keyboard, but good for the money

After being happy with the TKL RK68 and needing a new keyboard for work, buying this from RK was a simple decision. I didn't want a TKL for work as I didn't have a space restriction. The RK920 was cheaper which I assumed in part was due to it not being wireless, but outside of this it is not quite as high quality.

The keyboard itself is lighter making it feel "cheaper", the RGB on the keys is not so good (they are just one colour for each key on the RK920 vs different colours on the RK68), the colour patterns on the RK68 are better and finally there is no option for UK layout on the RK920 (unlike the RK68 that I have).

In summary though, for what it is, overall I am happy with the RK920 given it's price, would just be nice if it felt slightly higher quality (like the RK68) and also came in a UK keyboard layout.

Very cool for a keyboard love the noises

Love the sound and feeling of the keyboard overall. Different light patterns are nice aswell.

Everything I Was Looking For!

This keyboard has been a dream. I love the little screen and dial, love that I get a num pad, and the colors are exactly as pictured. RGB is super bright and reliable, software was pretty easy to get the hang of. I had a pretty specific kind of sound I wanted from my keyboard and was expecting to want to change the switches, but the ones it came with are damn near perfect for me (I prefer a quiet thwock-y switch.) Shipped in a timely manner as well. Highly recommend!

Best keyboard i have ever had

Really really nice keyboard for the price
