    65% Compact & Efficient Design

The RK R65 mechanical keyboard features a 65% ultra-compact layout with 66 essential keys, ideal for gamers and professionals seeking to maximize desktop space without sacrificing functionality. Its streamlined design makes it perfect for those who want portability and performance in one package.

Gasket-Mounted Structure for Superior Typing Comfort

Experience a premium typing sensation with the R65’s gasket-mounted structure, featuring a five-layer shock-absorbing design. This advanced construction minimizes noise and vibration, offering quieter and more satisfying keystrokes, making it perfect for long hours of typing or gaming.

    Seamless Triple-Mode Connectivity

Connect your devices effortlessly with the R65’s tri-mode connection options: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C wired. Pair up to three devices and switch between them with ease using the one-key switch mode. The keyboard also includes status indicators for Caps Lock, Win Lock, and battery charging, ensuring you're always informed.

CNC Aluminum Volume Knob & Durable PBT Keycaps

Control your sound with precision using the premium CNC-machined aluminum volume knob, which allows for easy adjustments with a simple twist. The double-shot PBT keycaps provide a superior tactile feel, enhanced durability, and fade-resistant legends, ensuring your keyboard stays pristine even after extended use.

Vibrant RGB Backlight & QMK/VIA Programmability

Light up your workspace with over 20 customizable RGB backlight modes, including dynamic effects and static color options. The R65’s QMK/VIA firmware lets you program any key, create complex macros, and customize shortcuts, elevating both your gaming and productivity.

Hot-Swappable Cream Switches for a Personalized Experience

The RK R65 comes with factory-lubed cream linear switches for smooth, silent keystrokes, providing a creamy and quiet typing experience. Thanks to its hot-swappable PCB, you can easily change the 3-pin or 5-pin switches without soldering, allowing you to fully personalize your keyboard’s feel.

    everything I've been looking for

Switches feel amazing and the klunk is great. Was looking a 65% board with a knob and three keys on the right, so this checks the form factor box as well.

Only knock is that Via programming isn't exactly plug and play. You need to find the right design file via reddit to get things to link up properly. The one on RK's software page didn't work for me. Apparently this is a bit buggy for lots of people, but got it working in the end.

    Best keyboard at this price

I just bought this keyboard for my graduate office. I just needed something that would be pleasant to type on but I didn't need the nicest keyboard... Let me tell you, this keyboard sounds/feels better stock, than my $130 keyboard.

I love that this keyboard is completely modifiable! I have added sound dampeners, tape mod, and silent switches with no problems or headaches. The board is a little difficult to open and requires some patience to open since there are no screws when getting the case open, but the material feels sturdy and I had no marks after opening and closing the case. I am happy with how sound all of the keyboard parts are, taking it apart and removing plugs/wires didn't feel like I was conducting surgery. It is important to note you can't just manhandle the keyboard and I have daintier fingers than most. The RGB, which I typically hate, is quite nice with a large selection of options, colors, and intensities.

I haven't tried the VIA software, but that is because my keyboard and computer just works. All of my hotkeys that are saved on my PC just work with no software update (Bonus, I run linux if you are here looking at keyboards for linux system, I run Nobara a fedora based distro).

I also don't leave reviews unless something is really good or really bad, and this keyboard is exceptional at this price. I am broke graduate student and this keyboard looks and feels like it is worth 100 - 120 USD.
