75% Gasket Mount Structure for Enhanced Comfort

The RK R75 wireless mechanical keyboard features a gasket-mounted design with five layers of sound-absorbing material, including poron cotton, to cushion between the PCB and casing. This design reduces key noise and vibration, optimizing the sound quality of your switches and offering a smoother, more comfortable typing experience.

    Customizable CNC Metal Volume Knob

Equipped with a high-quality CNC-machined metal volume knob, the RK R75 lets you easily control volume by rotating and mute/unmute by pressing. This knob is hot-swappable and programmable, allowing you to replace it with the included cream switches for even more versatility. Whether for media control or as a custom key, it meets all your needs.

Triple Mode Connectivity with Long-Lasting Battery

This wireless gaming keyboard supports Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired connections, allowing you to pair with up to three devices simultaneously. Switch between devices effortlessly while enjoying stable connectivity. With a 4000mAh built-in battery, the R75 delivers extended use for gaming or work sessions without frequent recharges.

Hot-Swappable Cream Switches for a Personalized Experience

The RK R75 comes with factory-lubed linear cream switches, offering smooth keystrokes and a creamy, thocky sound. Thanks to its hot-swappable PCB, you can replace 3-pin or 5-pin switches without soldering, allowing for full customization and the creation of your perfect setup.

    RGB Backlight & QMK/VIA Programmability

Customize your keyboard's RGB lighting with over 20 built-in backlight modes, including dynamic RGB effects, monochrome options, and full-color modes. QMK/VIA, Hotswap, Tri-mode and a delicious creamy keyboard

This RK75 is amazing for the cost and I am so impressed with it already. You get QMK/VIA support, hotswap, rgb (it is really bright), Tri-mode connectivity that works great, a 4000Mah battery, double shot PBT keycaps and some smooth cream switches with south facing LEDs. Seriously, how in the world is this board so budget friendly?
I have had zero complaints since I plugged it in, charged it and tested out the Bluetooth, the 2.4Ghz and got flawless connections with not even a whimper. Looking at the product page you can see how loaded and built this keyboard is. Plenty of padding and foams to give the board a pleasant sound and the gasket mount is very responsive, it makes this board so comfortable to type on. I'm on Team silent when it comes to switches but these cream switches are nice and I cannot believe I'm saying this. With that though I could not say it'd be welcome in an office as it's bound to annoy your co-workers but it is hotswap so you can change to a less aggressive sound and be completely silent. My preferred and affordable switch is the sea salt silent and I love them. Throw those in and you can take the RK75 everywhere and not get angry stare downs from your co-workers.
A really unexpected but cool feature of the RK75 is the option to replace the media knob with a normal switch and you can have an END key then or whatever you would want it to be by keymapping it in VIA. You simply do not see that on boards in this price range so it was a surprise Royal Kludge added this in. I'm not going to repeat everything on the product description because there's just so much you get here. What I can say is that this RK75 would definitely be on my radar if I need a new keyboard in the future.
RK has upped the game and if other manufacturers follow suit the consumer keyboard world is going to reap massive benefits for those efforts. You get a solid (not as in aluminum, it is a plastic case) keyboard for such little money that performs awesome and I honestly can say that if you need a new keyboard you should surely consider the RK75. It's the right price for a feature packed keyboard and it's very user friendly. They include the info for all the keys and what they do with the FN key, how to switch modes, control RGB and going into QMK/VIA programming. Instructions for everything you need to know to get started with the RK75 is on a 4 page foldable layout that is printed on front and back. They also give you 4 switches, one END keycap to replace the media knob, a nice type C to Type A power cable, flip out feet and the keycap/switch puller. The included dust cover is sturdy too so you can protect your RK75 when you are not using it. This adds up to a great keyboard that I can 100% recommend.
Things I would like to see from this lineup: different switch options for those who do not wish to replace switches, give the media knob some texture and make it taller. It's smooth all the way around and kind of an odd sensation but don't get rid of the tactile feedback you get when using it.
This is without a doubt 5 stars because they knocked it out of the park and it is so affordable for the features you get and the simple fact that everything just works so good.

RK ROYAL KLUDGE R75: A Good Quality Mechanical Keyboard

The RK R75 looks and feels great. Royal Kludge keyboards are always reliably good quality. If you don’t know what kind of mechanical keyboard to buy, consider Royal Kludge keyboards, and you can be assured that you’re getting a good quality mechanical keyboard.

For example, one of the things I don’t have to worry about with a Royal Kludge keyboard is “space bar rattle.” Many keyboards feel okay and work well enough, but some of them have a rattle in the spacebar that can be annoying. I have never had that problem with a Royal Kludge keyboard.

    • Layout

RK R75 is a 75% keyboard. It’s a good, useful layout that takes up less room on your desk than a full-size keyboard.

    • Features

There is a knob that controls volume on the upper right side of the keyboard. A cool feature of the RK R75 is that the knob can be removed and replaced with a standard mechanical switch, and be used as an extra key.

    • Connection

RK R75 has a tri-mode connection - 2.4 GHz/Bluetooth/wired. The 2.4 GHz receiver is stored in the top of the keyboard in a magnetic storage slot.

I can confirm that the Bluetooth connection is solid and strong.

    • In the Box:

RK R75 comes with a USB-C cable, a combo keycap/switch puller, four extra switches, and one extra keycap that says “End.” You would use this if you decide to remove the knob and replace it with a switch and keycap.

    • Hot Swappable:

RK R75 is hot swappable with both 3- and 5-pin switches. I’ve confirmed that it can fit Gateron, Kailh, and KTT switches with no problems.

    • Keycaps:

The RK R75 has double-shot PBT keycaps in cherry profile. I love the unique colorway. I got the Blue keyboard, and the two shades of blue with the cream-colored accent keycaps look so unique and cool.

    • RGB

The lights are south-facing, and they are bright and vibrant.

    • Conclusion:

I really enjoy typing on the RK R75. Royal Kludge has reliable build quality, and this is a very nice, creamy-sounding keyboard that feels well-made. I really enjoy the stock Cream switches. The wireless connections work well. I recommend the Royal Kludge R75.
