Really like the feel of the keyboard

I just received the keyboard 2 days ago so these are very fresh impressions.

First of all I was asked to review the product before I even received it. I know this is probably a script to send the survey at x amount of time passed but it still gave me a jumpscare that maybe it was delivered to a different person altogether or something. Not a fan of this at all.

Now, back to the keyboard at hand. Typing this review on it fyi. Love the spacing of the keycaps it really makes typing a pleasure and I've made surprisingly less to none mistakes while typing. I've had mine with the brown switches for reference.

Lovely little tactile response from the switches, very nice feel of the keycaps now to the knob. For me this is my very first keyboard with a knob. It has lots of functionality I'll give it that. Makes changing from BT1 to BT2,3 or dongle very easy, GIFs are nice to have but you will ignore it most of the time.

I don't really like the tactile feedback of the knob but maybe that will change over time. For now, it's meh.

Overall I think the keyboard is nothing short of amazing given the pricing. Purchased it at @ 84 EUR and I think I had shipping added on top of that.

Big thumbs up. If only it were hotswappable but maybe with a V2 or something they'll include that as well without a big jump in pricing.

    very good smal keybord

The dRK N80 is small, but not too small. The buttons are easy to use and very quiet. The multifunction wheel and the many connection options are excellent. Pairing was also seamless. Unfortunately, in the 21st century, the display has a pixelated look.

Expensive, but for a Good reason.

I usually don’t really go for low profile keyboards, so when Royal Kludge reached out to me in hopes of collaborating on a review of the board, I was a bit skeptical. That all changed when the package arrived. Immediately, I loved the weight, the styling, and especially that red and tan color scheme. I was surprised to seee that the brown switches had a nice tactile bump, and were also fairly quiet which I was especially hoping for. Of course the rgb and screen are nice to have, but I’m just happy a volume knob was present. Ya, it’s a bit pricey, and it’s not for everyone. But it’s my main board right now, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. I honestly used to think RK’s board were kind of boring and all looked the same. But not here, this is a really nice step up. As was the S98 when that released. Great job guys :)
