Why can't this just work like a normal keyboard????

First, this is a nice looking keyboard, especially with the YDMK keycaps. It feels solidly built.

Now let's get to everything that's wrong with said keyboard.
Never in my life have I struggled to get the most simple of PC accessories to work. A keyboard should be plug and play. PERIOD. I have been trying to get this keyboard to work for 2 days and nothing. I am typing this on my Razer keyboard because this RK84 will not connect to bluetooth, it will not connect to the dongle, will kinda work when connected with the cable that falls out whenever I even slightly move it (which essentially makes this "wireless" keyboard useless) and wants to update the software for over an hour without actually updating the software. To get this to connect to I have followed the directions. I have watched youtube videos. I have gone on reddit. Pressing FN + Q, W, E does nothing. I long pressed. I short pressed. The colors will change, so I guess that's something. Pressing FN + P does nothing. How can this f#$%@ keyboard not be paired with the dongle it came with out of the box??? I bought this direct from RK as an open box item. I will just assume they didn't bother testing it before shipping it to me. I emailed support and they sent me back the robot generated response telling me to do everything that I already explained I did in my support request. That was the nail in the coffin for me. My response to their help was just give me a refund.

    beginner board

Good beginner board but the main issue lies with the software. Don't touch the firmware updates because it will break the keyboard, mine doesn't even turn on anymore.

You should develop keyboard setup web application like others company. That is more convenience for all users and no need to concern about Operation System. We need Web Application like Wooting.

    Amazing RK84

The price $79 (pre tax) for a layout 84 keyboard, it gave me an amazing experience with cool and easy to use LED RGB, great Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz connection, the red switch isn't bad but it's not great either, I am more impressed with the blue switch because its clicky sound is pretty good, the keyboard design is very good and solid despite being made of plastic. But there are 2 things that make me personally not like the RK84 which is the North-facing keyboard, for those who don't know, the north facing keyboard with cherry profile keycaps installed, when typing the keycaps will hit the top of the switches which can prevent proper bottom-out and affects the typing sound and typing experience, and the rest is the switch puller that is included in the box, for those who do not have your own switch puller, I think it will be useless to you. In general, if you are a person who likes cherry profile keycaps, choose the right one to be compatible with the RK84, if you are a newbie who wants to use a mechanical keyboard for the first time, don't hesitate to buy RK84.
